The average height for humans is

Im 5'10 but i feel small when with my 2 younger bros who are 6ft and above..middle one i think is about 6'3 and the youngest is 6'2 tall.

Mind you i dont mind being 5'10, its not a bad height but i could do with some extra height...wonder if ill gain any if i get a couple of my mates to pull my legs and arms :p.

My brother in law has 2 brothers...both of which are about 6'4 or 6'5....I felt like such a little girl when we were lined up for wedding photos :wtc:

Why? There seem to be a few tall people on here complaining!

At 6'7" I like my height, there are only a few times when it is a pain in the bum - planes/coaches etc are not fun, shopping etc was no fun but now 38" leg trousers are easy when you know where to look as are extra long sleeve shirts.

Come on tall people cheer up!

I doubt you can find any fashionable clothes at that size though..It must be like being a fat person in that sense :o

I dunno about you personally but every 6'5 person ive known has been skinny as a rake and they hated that.

Nah, my height doesn't bother me much, I notice the heights of doorways more than some and like you say transport can be an issue but generally the benefits outweigh the disadvantages I find. Then again I'm not massively tall at 6'4", I'm just normal height and everyone else is simply short. ;)

I think that you have to be a bit selective in your shopping, some 'big and tall man's shops' are full of old man clothes but some, High and Mighty for example have some pretty good clothes every now and then (expensive though). Some like Slaters Menswear have some good cheap clothes.

Depends what you wear I suppose I am a jeans and t shirt man.

I am 17 stone so slightly overweight by the old BMI but I'm happy.

Haha same here mate, on my wedding i looked tiny compared to my bros when pics were taken..in fact i had people asking me who were those 2 gorgeous guys stood next to me:(:p. Same thing on both of their weddings...i blame my parents for giving me the crap genes both in height and looks:(.

Because a system of measurement which uses 12s instead of 10s seems nonsensical?

Also, this isn't the average height of humans. It's the average height of humans on various computer forums, which are likely to be 90%+ male. This biases the calculation a lot. There's no way the average human is 6ft when most women are <5ft8.
