It never had swastika lights.

It had Iron Cross lights.

The Iron Cross is a German military symbol first used at the start of the 1800s. It is as much a 'nazi symbol' as the colour red is.

There's nothing to defend. The iron cross is still used by the German military today.

No. Its a Baja bug. Has an exposed engine.

Was hoping a few chrome bits would be turning up in the post Friday. But as they didn't I got on with the bodywork.

That is the final colour by the way.

This is what I'm going for, but without the darker patches.

I'd have replaced the Iron Cross lights with big rotating Swastikas.

Quite a change from the Fiat. Looks like fun though

I'd be scared to park it up anywhere though. Come back to find bits of the engine missing.
