The Battlefield 4 Thread 2015

I would reinstall the game before a format. Some things to do first, try repairing the game in Origin, test...take any overclocks off your gpus, test...reinstall game and origin, test....redoing your OS is absolutely last shot.

I don't have any CPU or GPU overclocks running at the moment. My system is as "stock" as they come. I did repair the game a week ago and it downloaded about 1.3GB for this base game. Thought that may have fixed it but obviously not.

Will try reinstalling it first :)
 
I run a reference 290 and have not had any issues on BF4. I get a consistent FPS to be honest. In fact, this card has worked great from the get go and even on games that other people are having issues with, mine has been fine.

Perhaps you have a bad card, or you are getting driver conflicts?

Not getting any BSODs so I have no crash dumps to analyse in WinDBG. All I get are the Windows Error Reporting files which are as much use as nipples on a bull.

I guess I could attach DebugDiag to the BF4.exe process. Seems like a lot of work though for something that should just run properly after 18+ months of patching.

I envy everyone who got amd and have no problems with this game...I had the cpu spikes from fresh install of win....

Tony do you play on mantle ?

Do you guys remember when Tony got banned.... have you seen his K/D on new account ? what if this bloke just got a new account cos being 140lvl is no longer fun ? he might not be cheating....I would cut him some slack...
 
Tony didn't have a 100% red or even a 0.1% red cheat score though so your argument is flawed on the one Crispy linked.

It's the HS : K ratio of 80% on an "unspecified" LMG that gives it away. Tony never had a 99% cheat probability based on his stats.

Edit: The BF4DB admins didn't seem to take long to agree either ;)
