The Battlefield 4 Thread 2015

Game just went completely fubar on me then kicked me out - tried to get kiwi with a C4 loaded buggy and it wouldn't let me exit the buggy no matter how many times I pressed exit - now just getting "Game disconnected: Client closed down connection. Check your network connection and make sure that port 3659 (UDP) is open." as soon as I try to connect.

Yeah that was a nice shot on the heli... that bit at the end though - just could not get out the vehicle whatever I did :(

Makes me want to go back to COD though... I like a bit of a challenge going 1 v people organised but when the game kicks you in the teeth as well its just frustrating.

Aaand the game never ceases to give... lol... (should have expected it with how badly it handles people mantling anyhow)

Said it once and I'll say it again mate but there is definitely something funcky doing on with you connection.
 
Don't like having AMD ATM. I know it's 'only' a 6950 but still getting dropped frame warnings and less than 60FPS on 'LOW'! Hope my card will be back next week sometime.

Pretty confident its not my connection - aside from having been playing FPS games online before even 56K modems existed (so almost have a sixth sense for connection issues by now) - I can play other games like quakelive, etc. that have a netgraph and it looks like this all day long:

EDIT: Another one from a few minutes ago...


The first shot went... where? if I didn't know better I'd say my connection was bad but all other games are fine, I've done every possible test I can imagine and its a dead solid single digit ping to most UK servers with effectively no packet loss and very little jitter. (If my connection was so off it caused that shot to do nothing I'd have expected to see the connection icon popup on the right as well).

My play style is very very dependant on good "netcode" though so I do seem to encounter it more than other people :( (not that I'm particularly good just very little margin for error in my style if it isn't keeping up with me).

I dunno dude. Most of the time when I place my cursor in front of a bady it hits. simple as that. The only exception to the rule is when new patches come out but you seem to have been having these issues for several years now.
 
If the netcode and weapon characteristics in bc3 is the same as this game then I'm not buying it. I can go mvp 1-3 with ease in bf3 (and even that has it's faults) but with bf4 I can't hit anything. It's why I stopped playing it, it's not fun losing and being at the bottom of the leaderboards in every game.

Grab an AEK and mag dump on lockers/metro - you won't be bottom of the leaderboard though it might lower your IQ a few orders of magnitude by the end of the map :S
