Don't use VSync, it causes input lag, Use a user.cfg and put this in it..

perfoverlay.drawfps 1
gametime.maxvariablefps XXX

change XXX to your desired FPS cap. drop it in your BF4 install folder, Google if you need more info.

Thanks very much all problems sorted now get a solid 75FPS @ Ultra with no stutters

Edit also just seen i am now hitting 42C on GPU under game load

Sorry if this has already been brought up but I need to know. Have EA actually broken the thermo on the tanks. Since the last update it's too dark and I can't use it. I hope this is fixed soon.

It isn't as good as it was, but I still use it. Can still easily see infantry. Maybe have to turn it off/on a bit more if it gets too dark.

Not sure I like the latest patch.

When you fire your guns, you can see your bullets as a line on the screen. Makes it very very easy. It's like pointing a laser pen made of bullets at the enemy.

Even when under fire and suppressed, you just have to make sure your 'laser pen' passes over the enemy and you will successfully return fire.

Took me a bit of time getting used to the new FLIR, but it's not that bad, and still my go to optic for tanks and LAVs.

Ive got same cpu and 295x2 and got cpu spikes....all the time random...not solved it as of yet

Also first scrim is this Sat so be sure to turn up 30 ish mins before hand and we have a meeting 8pm our time this thurs if you guys wanna show ur faces (figure of speech ofc). It might be changed to 7pm so just keep an eye on the platoon wall

Have you tried Giants of Karelia? pitch black and completely unplayable for me. Some maps are fairly ok but others like that are ridiculous.

Will be 50/50 for me. What will you be discussing during the meeting? I guess my main role will be respawning
