I see now and again people mention DAW software on here. I know there are a fair few guitarists and people who dabble in music production on OcUK so I thought it might be worth creating a place to discuss the wider topic.
Are you involved in digital music production / recording either as a hobby or professionally? What kit do you own, MIDI controllers, VST soft synths, hardware synths, audio interfaces? What is the bit of kit you swear by?
What DAW are you using and what kind of music do you make? Who are your influences?
Would you be interested in discussing work in progress, production tips, mixing / EQ and mastering? Would anyone like to collaborate on a track or maybe if the mods allow it have an OcUK remix competition!

Hardware - Novation SL Mk2 MIDI Controller / iTrack audio Interface / Prosonus eris 4.5 Monitors
Main Instruments - Softsynths: Arturia V Collection / OP-X pro / TAL Noisemaker / u-he TyrellN6
Music style - Synthwave, instrumental, cinematic.
Influences - Com Truise, Carpenter Brut, Boards of Canada, Bonobo, Deadly Avenger.
Currently experimenting with LANDR https://www.landr.com/en for mastering tracks but would love to know if people do their own mastering or outsource it.
