The best 775 cooler?

I have decided to call it a day with water cooling and going back to air cooling but im so far behind in this area.

Anyone advise on the best cooler for a QX9650?

Not too bothered on a budget, i just want the best performance.

The TRUE is a great cooler. Great temperatures.

Can i ask what temps you get with this at 4ghz?

Currently core temps are 51 - 53c under load (seti@home), and ambient room temperature is 23c (quite warm!!).

Edit: When I had the TRUE on this rig, core temps were 57 - 61c with roughly similar ambient.

i am about to buy the megahalems for an i7, it has very good reviews and good temperatures.

did you use mx-3 paste or the stuff that it came with ? i am buying some mx-3 to go with this HS

I used MX-2, but the stuff that comes with it is supposed to be just as good.

If you're getting MX-3 you might as well use it!
