Hi guys - I'm moving to core 2 duo over the next few months so thought it would be cool to put my x2 3800 and all the bits in a shuttle.

Can anyone tell me the best socket 939 shuttle? Needs to be pci-e for the gfx card if possible.

Is the SN25P the one to go for?

cheers

If you want dual slot gfx, then go for the SN25P. If you want a smaller and quieter box and only intend on using single slot go for the SN21G5.

I have an SN21G5 and love it, if it could handle the power comsumption of the new 8800s then I'd stick with it for a long time, modding the case to allow the heatsink to fit. But soon enough I'll be doing the whole swap for the SD39P2, which is Core2Duo/Quad and can take the mega drainage of the 8800GTX.

I must admit I had the same idea, could be a bit of a rise in demand for them as people upgrade, which might make them hard to come by as they probably dont make them anymore! (Not sure about that last bit, so feel free to correct me)

PK!

May as well wait.

Shuttle have an X38, G33 and P35 lineup in the works! :)

SN25P is probably your best bet, was the only that i could get due to me have dual slot gfx card, but it is a lovely shuttle and i dont find it too loud with the fans on medium, cools my x2 4200 way better then i thought it would. but if you have a single slot gfx card then agreed prop be better off with the SN21G, would have loved one but damn gfx card said no :(
