Eh? Not at all. I'm just stating my opinion on that particular cover. Anyway the thread was to post what you thought was the 'best' cover.. not amusing ;)

Best cover ever, I'd have to go with Jimi Hendrix 's cover of 'all along the watchtower'.

That song moves me nearly to tears everytime I hear it.

Then again, so does Ronan Keating's version of Iris - but for different reasons. Those are tears of rage!
 
The Dillinger Escape Plan are legendary for their covers! Their version of Aphex Twin - Come to Daddy with Mike Patton is the stuff of legend. They also did a truly chaotic version of GnR's My Michelle.
 
Cant believe all these people that actually like the Toris Amos cover! Its utter utter tripe! I can remember when it was released Nirvana dancing around the stage to the cover, taking the pee.

I agree with Jeff Buckley, Halelujah and Nirvana, The man who sold the world, both are amazing and Muse, Can't keep my eyes off you, totally rawks.

Dare I say it - Marylin Manson's - Sweet Dreams is actually good.

Travis - Hit me baby, is fantastic, shows that the actual tune is great (and rather an amusing cover).

Bjork - You only live twice, its phenomenal

The White stripes - I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself, thats great too.

Has anyone heard The cover of Space Oddity by The Langley Schools Music Project? Absolutely hilarious. Wonderwall - The Mike Flowers Pops, is also so funny.
