I'm after decent N class router for use on sky. It must have gigabit Ethernet because the current 10mb/s on my DG834GT isn't cutting it for large files being sent across the network. It also must have N speed wireless.

I don't want the top of the range router, i've got a £20 gift voucher with a large online shop, so i would like something under the £40 mark ideally.

I use a Billion 7200N on Sky. If you find the spec. you want at that price I'll be surprised.

Have you considered using a Gigabit switch with the Sky wireless N router?

Just get a tp-link 5 port gigabit switch and connect the DG834GT to it, and then everything else to the switch. You'd get gigabit network transfer but your Internet will come down the 100mbit cable. For wireless N maybe a wireless ap. You should be able to do that for £40. You'd have 3 boxes to power of course and it'd be slightly messy but it's cheaper than a Billion.

The 834GT is already a great modem as it has a broadcom chipset and works so well with Sky.

As Tealc, just use your router and get a gigabit switch; twas what I did. I had a 834GT flashed with DGTeam firmware and conencted it up to a Procurve 1400-8G and voila gigabit network. Saying that my 834gt wireless then decided to die on me so I replaced it with a dgn2000 and flashed it again and all is running fine.
