The best movie database program ?

Hi guys, my friend's mac has program which organises all his movies, imports dvd covers and movie information. Basically just allows him to look through all his movies in an easy way instead of having a folder with a list of all his movies. I've just been looking around and i mean i'm willing to pay if there is a decent one on the market for windows. I've seen one called 'all my movies' which has an interface like this:

But i'm just wondering if any of you use any good ones or can point me towards a good one.

I know that Windows Media Player can sort of do that for music albums, can it not do the same for video files?

Surely a folder with videos is the easiest way you can possibly get? Don't have to load any programs or anything, just click search and type in the name.

That's what I thought, along with WMP, but I assume he wants the bit on the right as well, with the information about the film?

If you have al of the DVD's ripped to a HD, then My Movies 2 as stated above would be your best option, it also creates an interface into Media Centre to allow all of your DVD's to be shown and played from there.
