Avoide Nokia branded ones, they sometimes don't work with their own phones (no really!) are are often a cheaper one rebranded, and you pay a premium. Sandisk are pretty good, they are one of the manjoy memory assemblers.

Although rather then buy MiniSD, I'd rather buy transflash/microSD

Then spend £2 on an adapter to make it fit in the MiniSD slot. Most new handsets are moving over to Transflash (Moto, Samsung, Nokia) so its more likely your memory card will work in the new phone. Think they cost almost the same so I'd do that.
 
If you want a transflash wich you should realy be going for, then I have a 1GB one that you can have (cheap).
