Will this PC be good?

Is this a good build?

- Asus Vintage V3-M2NC61P Barebones System - AMD64 (Socket AM2)
- AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5600 2.90GHz (Socket AM2) - Retail

It would be used for audio recording, video recording, games such as the sims 2 and call of duty modern warfare.

There is no good reason to use Norton when the are superior freeware and pay for alternatives. Better to put the money to the hard ware.

A lot of people have been saying bad things about those Seagate drives, apparently they have a high failure rate. There’s a thread dedicated to it somewhere around here…

Also don’t get Norton, it’s the biggest pile of **** you can install on your computer.
 
For games you'll want better than a 8600GT.
I also wouldn't consider buying a new system with less than 4gig RAM nowadays.
 
Personally I don't think the HDD's are bad.. I just think its a simple case of OcUK selling thousands of them more compared to other drives. I know they fit 7200.11's into most of their pre built PC's, and the standalone OEM is cheap.

More sales is obviously going to mean more failures than other drives. Just seems higher than it actually is.
