Hi guys,

I've recently built a computer for my sister, however sadly she's complaining of it constantly crashing. I ran it for a weekend at my house without any issues but as soon as they got their hands on it it started to go wrong.

Problem is they live on the other side of London, so i rarely get access to it. I've got it here for the weekend so i want to quickly and reliably determine whether it has a hardware fault. I'm going to run some CPU and Ram stress tests but is there any other good way of testing the motherboard, PSU, hard drive, etc?

Thanks for any help.

take it down to the minimum, 1 stick of ram etc and try it , other option is to remote desktop if your that far away. did you send it to them or do you drop it off to them ? maybe if it was sent something has become loose so it becomes unstable some of the time
