I have a few family pc's in need of a proper copy of windows and was wondering what would be the best one to get as I don't wont to buy one for every pc if I don't have too.

The cheapest is 3x OEM copies. That's pretty much the only option you have, there's no multipacks or anything like that.

I have one copy of windows 7 pro retail which I have installed on 3 different computers at home over last 3 years Ive installed the OS about 7 times sometimes it will not let you then you got to wait a few months before trying a new install of windows again but that's not to bad have saved myself a lot of money not getting multi copies of Win 7.

You should be able to get 2 copies of Win 7 OS with just one copy of Win 7 retail easily.

You only have 1 license, even though you've physically been able to activate on 3 PC's. So you only have 1 legitimate installation of Windows.
