Hi Peeps,

At the moment what would you feel is the "best" "bang for buck":

a) mobo
b) cpu
c) gfx card
d) ram
e) hsf
f) dvd rw
g) case
h) keyboard n mouse
i) sound card
j) monitor
k) watercooling option

also how long do you think your recommendations would be "the best" for....what i mean is that are you aware of any new hardware changes anytime soon?

thanks in advance..

Hmm, i think most the components are catchy, you get one item, which requires something else.

So id vote for the one thing that hasn't changed for a long time...the good old mouse & keyboard.

He's probably asking what of each of the categories is best bang for buck atm.

a) Asus P5K. Cheapest P35 Xfire motherboard.
b) E6320 or Q6600.
c) Debatable. I'd say the 2900XT for price/performance.
d) Geil 6400C4 2GB kits.
e) Noctua UH-12
f) Pioneer
g) Lian Li PC-7
h) meh
i) X-Fi Music
j) Dell or Samsung 20" or 24".
k) meh

Well in that case:
a) mobo :most features, low price
b) cpu : E2140...very cheap, overclocks in excess of 3ghz
c) gfx card : really couldnt say, but generally the cheapest of any model
d) ram :overclocks well, quite cheap
e) hsf : tuniq heatsink seems good
f) dvd rw : any SATA drive
g) case : purely preference
h) keyboard n mouse : preference again
i) sound card: X-fi music
j) monitor: 2007WFP 20" , good screen, not cheap but quality over others in same price range is substancial.
k) watercooling option.... no idea
