Can't remember if I posted this but a month or so ago I was sitting here when heard this loud crash bang - wife heard it as well and we met at the kitchen -We searched high and low to find out where it came from - I even looked on roof to see if it was space debris. We never found out what it was till yesterday.
Wife was cleaning out the kitchen wall cupboards and called me in to dark splodges on underside of top of the cupboards - I got up there handing stuff down and found it.
The bang was a old tin of pineapple slices that had gone off - It blew lid straight off - the lid was undamaged just in with the rest of tins - The pineapple slices were rather black with mould but it didn't smell.
Finally solved and it lead to a massive cupboard clearout.
