Thought I'd mention this, has anyone been?

Went recently but been before, there is a museum there, but what's really cool is they take you on a tour of the mine, I found it absolutely fascinating.

Up until recently it was free you just had to pay £5 for the car park, now they do charge £5 a head, which isn't much money recently.

Anyway I thought I'd mention it if you are ever in the local area, well worth a visit for a few hours.

I took my boys when they were 12 & 14 and they thought it was great, as did I
When we went it was free, but like you say a fiver a head is peanuts

Im pretty sure i went down there when i was a youngster

I remember the tour guides getting us to turn off the head torches , it was pitch black
