Forgive me if a thread has been started already on this, i searched and couldn't find one.
So what do you think the aftermath of the recent big PSN hack will be?
I've had every technophobe at work and my mum saying the internet is no good, it's not safe etc etc - must say it's doing my head in!
To be fair i think people's confidence in the online shopping world will be dented.
So my take is, with Sony's billions and billions and technical prowess did they really not care about the security of its customers?
I've heard allegations that customer's card details were unencrypted in text files.
I'm assuming if customer's card details were breached then they must have been unencrypted? I assume even something free like truecrypt is virtually unhackable?
Love the way Sony wait until all this time to admit it, still haven't forgiven them for the rootkit scandal in 2005 so they've got whats coming to them.
Shame their so greedy and don't give a **** about their customers privacy as Sony products are rather good!
