Just got back from the cinema, saw this film, and it's been such a long time i have seen a film which i have really enjoyed as much as this one.

I highly recommend this film to anyone that enjoys character driven stories and clever twisting plots.

8/10 from me.

Anyone else seen it? What you think?

I read this book 3 or 4 years back and was left very unimpressed by the story line, however I distinctly remember one chapter of the book being very well written and described so I'd want to see it just for that, but story wise, very poor.

Saw it yesterday. Do yourself a favour and just re-watch LA Confidential instead. Although I was expecting Josh Hartnett to be total rubbish, yet he's one of the better parts to the film.

If you do watch it, I fail to see how anyone can stop themselves from bursting out laughing when the Scottish guy speaks. It's sort of Glasgow via some Irish suburb of California. And whenever he senses it's flagging a little bit he just says "wee" or "laddie". Absolutely comical! :D

i watched it on saturday night....and was quite dissapointed...

it has a very slow start which actually put me to sleep

things did get a bit more interesting but tbh i didnt really get what was going on, as there were so many connections between people and what was going on it was had to keep up (or maybe cos i slept through some part? :p )

and scarlett wasnt exactly looking her best :( wearing silly clothes and covered in pale white make up

one to miss i personally think!
