Sky’s the limit. Glen Powell and J.J. Abrams bring you The Blue Angels - exclusively in IMAX theatres May 17th, streaming on Prime Video May 23rd.

Soar with The Blue Angels in a brand-new documentary featuring never-before-seen footage that chronicles a year with the Navy’s elite Flight Demonstration Squadron—from selection through the challenging training and demanding show season—showcasing the extraordinary teamwork, passion, and pride that fuels America’s best, the Blue Angels.

Looks like they've used all the filming techniques from Top Gun Maverick in this.

That was the most American thing I've ever watched. :D It was probably what you would expect out of it, fighter jets, guitar solos, all that sort of stuff. It was sort of similar to the Red Arrows (Inside the bubble?) documentary that the BBC did a couple of years ago. There was a lot of inventive shots of the planes and you get a really good feeling of how close together they're actually flying at some parts. Some of the footage was a bit repetitive, but you would sort of expect that because they do the same 'show' multiple times.

I would have liked to see the entire 'routine' from start to finish, they sort of do that at one point towards the end of the film but it's heavily cut down unfortunately.

Worth a watch definitely, think it's going to be on Prime next week.

Oh, and the Flight Surgeon was fit AF. :D

Amazing, saw them practisting out in Pensacola, incredible to watch!
We got kicked off a Base in Pensacola... On our way back to New Orleans, Saw a sign and thought yeah lets go to the Museum..... So, You either need to be a US citizen or go with a US citizen..... Big men with Big guns asked/Told us nicely to turn around and leave........

Yeah we got in, just needed to show our passport! Luckily enough we went the day before to watch and got turned away as they didn't have them but practise got cancelled! Went back the next day fully armed. Will post video later!

Finally got it off my watchlist earlier, after watching it bit gutted missed it at cinema as the jet scenes would have looked awesome on the big screen, can't get much more American than this especially with the Hans Zimmer soundtrack to it.
