So after having my MBP since feb, I have got round to hooking it up to my main monitor and pulling my keyboard and mouse of my Win7 machine.

However it all looks a bit messy, will post pics in the hardware thread later.

But my question is how to people find moving from a full size keyboard to the little bluetooth one with the num pad removed?

Cheers

Actually I prefer using the BT keyboard apart from not having the numerical keys on the right hand side.

I don't use the numpad at all on my full size filco. So no problems in that respect. However I do miss using a mechanical switch keyboard, especially as my iMac has now become my main machine. If only there was a company that made mechanical switch keyboards in a native Mac layout that didn't look like absolute ****.

I was thinking about getting one of these keyboards to use with my PC and iPad but didn't take the plunge mainly because of the high asking price.

I love my bluetooth Apple Keyboard. And to be honest, for home use, I don't miss the numpad at all. I also find it really easy to type on and it gives me more room on my desk.

Battery life is also pretty good - mine goes for a few months on a set of batteries. ;)

Thanks for the feedback, I will look at getting one of these then.

Will be getting a magic mouse in with a new 17" MBP in work I need to build so will assess that and see if that is worth getting, opposed to a Logitech BT mouse
