Just as title really what kind of recipes do you guys enjoy cooking/eating? Obviously they have to offer some sort of nutritional value.

Tonight I had a pretty simple meal but it was nice, Cod loin, kale and boiled potatoes followed up by lots of lovely fruit.

I have to say the cod loin is nice because I didn't have to pick lots of bones out, but I wouldn't say it was worth the price I paid over perhaps a cheaper fish like plaice.

Thoughts and pearls of cookery wisdom?

My lunch everyday.. 100g wholemeal pasta, 1 tin tuna, 1 chicken fillet, 2 tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, olive oil and black pepper.

3 egg omellete and cheese mmmm thats a good lunch, or omellete and tuna or chorizo :p.
Another common meal is tuna mayo and wholemeal pitta or tuna and homemade bread.

That's a point, regarding tuna, do you guys cut out the mayo or substitute it with something a bit healthier and if so what?

My cooking isn't very good unfortunately so my main meals are fairly simple (and quick to prepare :) )

Steak + Salad w/ sweet potatoes + olive oil dressing
Chicken + Rice/Potato + Veg
Salmon + Rice/Potato + Veg
Lamb + Rice/Potato + Veg
Pasta + Tuna + Veg
4-6 eggs + Toast + Fruit
Tuna + Mayo in pita with sweetcorn

I wasn't aware its particularly bad =/, its made from eggs and has a fair bit of fats/sat fats in though I dont use much.

Lots of chicken, lots of lean mince, lots of fish, lots of oily fish, lots of pulses and beans, lots of green veg. In any sort of format really.

All sounds good, at the moment I'm making a specific effort to eat stuff like broccoli, avocado, sprouts, peanuts etc, all things which lower oestrogen levels and promote high natural testosterone levels. Hopefully this should help with good muscle growth. Apparently big compound and leg exercises raise testosterone too. A high testosterone level seems to have many benefits so I'm hoping good nutrition can help me maintain this.

Chicken and bacon salad is my favourite post gym meal.

Depending on how my energy levels feel I usually leave out croutons and just stick with meat and salad (with a bit of dressing)

The full fat mayo - from a well known manufacturer - is around 700 calories per 100g, the extra light version (which I use) is around 70 calories per 100g. Tastes pretty much the same, and makes Tuna and Mayo a genuinely healthy sandwich / spud filling.

Yeah I use some light one too :p.

kl, sounds like a plan. What was the last cheat meal you guys had?

Mine was lasagne, and it was good :D
None of my dinners are particularly great but I had a chinese last night :p. It filled a hole and then I felt bloated and slightly ill afterwards :(, I think I'll eat a bit less next time.
