The Boys (Amazon Prime)

Finished watching the last episode of season 4 and enjoyed it.

First 2-3 episodes was terrible imo and almost gave up on the show but it got better midway and continued to do so till the end.

I saw the trailer for season 5 and not sure how
Butcher all of a sudden is alive and not dead? he looked like he was breathing his last few breaths at one point...

I like The Boys, it's silly irreverent fun. I like the gross out moments and the humour and the acting is often very very good. But it has no meaningful overall story arc and it burned every possible story resolution arc from the comics early on. Whilst I enjoy it I have no idea how they will end the show in a satisfying fashion. I hope to be surprised, I fear I will be let down.
 
Should i put down the list of stuff to do the other half as left me and watch these now?
Or just watch later
 
Quite enjoyed these first two episodes. I'm still not quite sure how it will finally finish, but I am looking forward to seeing how it all gets pulled together.

Oh, forgot this was coming out now! I need to get through GenV season 2 first. Watched the first episode ages back but it didn't grab me so dropped off it.
 
Also had completely forgotten about this so I am watching the first two episodes now. Forgot how much on spot on the politics side of the show with real life events in the white house.

Edit: Enjoyed the first 2 episodes!
