Can anyone recommend some microfibre cloths for applying, buffing and drying please? I got some mantis ones from homebase whilst I was in there, and the green one is ok, but the yellow one leaves fluff - plus they are too small for drying.

For those that use SRP how long do you spend working it into a given area?

As long as you can. More working it in = more swirls being filled. If you do 3 hits of it with 3-5 minutes on one area per hit, you'll get it looking very good.

You will lose your arms doing this though.

I bought one of these from Halfords as I've lost my decent one, it's okish, but coverage isn't brilliant.

I used my snowfoam lance for the first time today. Put the snowfoam in the bottle and added some water, however the snowfoam wasn't as thick as I expected it to be. Should I have added less water or no water what so ever?

I put in like 10:1 or even 15:1 water to snowfoam ratio.

Warm water and adjust your nozzle as well.

Anyone used Wolf's Chemicals Hard Body? I have never used anything but wax before, is it worth giving something like this a shot?

Finally bought some Autosol today, will see how it does on the twin pipes this weekend!

As in turned it up towards the plus sign? I initially did that, turns out that made it too watery, I've got mine more towards minus than plus and comes out a lot better.

Try adding a bit of whichever shampoo you also use, get a good thick layer with a little adjustment.

Generally end up with water marks when after its rained.

Also you don't have to drive far for the sides of the car to be **** up again from road dirt when its wet.

Not really, if the rain is dirty from dust in the air yeah but just rain = no water marks if you've waxed properly.

I had it at both, minus made it more watery and plus less. I'll try again next time I wash the car.

How thick do you have the nozzle? I've set mine to really thin, looks as though it's barely open.

Can isopropanol be used for stripping wax and if so by what ratio should i dilute it? If not, can anyone recommend a (cheap as pos) product i can buy to do it.
