I got this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00J7XSOLS

If the seats aren't excessively soiled then you could probably get away with cleaner on the seats and then agitato/wiped with a microfiber cloth

Just finished a detail on the new daily so thought I'd share a few pics, the sides of the car in particular were annoying me with the swirls and marring. I assume washed in a hand car wash previously,

Managed to get some space in my mate's unit (he installed PPF www.autofx.co.uk). With the ever changing weather, it was really useful to have some indoor space and the ramp was a godsend for polishing the lower areas.

Started early on saturday morning, car really isn't that dirty as I've hardly driven it since working from home -

Started with the wheels and arches:BH Surfex in the pressure sprayer, BH Auto Wheels & a bucket with Adams shampoo. I had to use a mixture of brushes due to the wheel design - EZ Wheel Brush, Wheel Woolies and Wo Wo Wheel Mitt for behind the spokes. Surfex applied to the tyres and arches with the very handy 90 degree Nilfisk attachment -

Then rinsed the whole car and got BH Auto Foam ready to soften the dirt & bug splatter -

Adams shampoo & the WM2 wash mitt minimising the damage during the contact wash -

Then a hit of ironx & Tardis, very little reaction as you can see below. Either polished before handover or due to the fact its only done a few thousand miles since new -

RInsed again then pat dried with the Kiln Korea drying towel

In the unit was a blaster sidekick so had a go with that for the first time, very useful for drying up the alloys!!

Followed by a mid polish picture showing the ramp in action and the car taped up with the 3M blue -

It was really hard to get 50/50s on the paint and I only really have a video to show it. However in picture form, the gloss B pillars were by far the worst -

50/50 - Menzerna SF4500 & a green Hex Logic spot pad -

Finished -

.

The bulk of the paint was hit with Menz FG400 & green hex logic pads, it was then refined with CarPro Essence (CarPro gloss pad) and finally topped with Reload. Some after pics -

Tyres dressed with Gyeon Tire, autosol on the exhaust and glass cleaned with Auto Finesse Crystal.

Excellent result that, some hard graft there, those wheels look like a right pain to clean properly.

Would love to have the time, patience, equipment and knowledge to fully polish my car like that..

@Amos91 lovely job, those piano black B pillar trims always come up a treat, thanks for sharing. I would love to have use of a space like that for a couple of days!

The pillars are lovely once fixed up - think I will get them PPF wrapped to protect them going forward. I have a small garage which just about fits my Clio 182 in (enough to machine polish it), but the ramp at this place was a dream for the doors etc.

All i got to do now, is the chrome !

chrome looks a bit marked, my Ford Badge at the front is really really bad but its still blue with Ford, just around the outside looks bad

any ideas how to clean up ?

i use Autoglym stuff, got most of it, hopefully i have something on my shelf i could try

If those black pillar trims are anything like those on my Skoda they're probably already swirled again, they scratch just by looking at them

Autosol and wirewool - this was covered only a few posts ago.

Yes most likely although the gf knows not to touch them lol! I'll probably machine them again and get Xpel self healing film applied straight after.

Well fortunately it's not my car, still interested to find out what damage it's done or if it needs a respray. Pretty terrible.

Silver lining is I now don't have to keep telling the Mrs not to use this place anymore (not her car but she does go to the same car wash occasionally).
