The Cardboard PC!

Just a quick question.. when building a PC on cardboard for testing etc exactly how are you supposed to turn it on?!

I'm asking because I have a mates rig here that I need to test for dodgy hardware and it would be so much easier to build it out of the case.

Yeah, how do you think a power button on a case works?

On the mobo where you would normally plug in the front panel connections just hold a screwdriver accross the power button connections for a couple of seconds until the fans spin.

Confirm this works safely, i even used the mobo backplate to do it when the screw driver or scissors werent handy

I hope that you were using plastic finished scissors. (the ones with metal blades and plastic-coated grips).
