Previously known as the Pillow concept, the Portal is a strikingly different case design featuring curved aluminium panels and a distinctive stand. The case itself is a dual frame design with an inverted motherboard tray, which means you can show off your VGA card if you opt for the windowed equivalent. The case is specifically aimed at Mini-ITX systems, yet there is support for 300mm VGA cards, 125mm CPU coolers, SFX PSU's and you can even fit a 120mm AIO in there.

The dual frame aspect makes assembling the case significantly easier, and the Portal is an ideal case for HTPC or LAN setups due to its aesthetics and portability. Im not sure how I feel about this case, its a bit like banging Lorraine Kelly, id have a go and probably enjoy it but I wouldnt tell my mates.

Think IO location is a bit daft as will look stupid with a usb drive etc sticking out its side. I like the design but still massive for an itx case

Which parts are plastic?

The runners for sliding the system in/out, acrylic window, power button, reset button, everything else is aluminium & steel.

Very interesting aesthetics.
Though it looks like cooling will be pretty abysmal with more power hungry parts, especially GPU cooling.
The internal frame looks good though, could see a version with better cooling options, more ventilated front and top is all it really needs.
