I received my tripod for christmas, and managed to scare the cat into staying still for long enough to snap this.
C&C welcome
She sat in the living room, which was pretty dark except for a ray of light from the window, just highlighting her face. The right is a tad blown out, which is a bit of a shame. My s5600 seems better at capturing shadow detail than highlight. I am often tempted to underexpose and tweak in PS.
The only work done in photoshop is levels tweak, and I touched the background up, it was extremely dark shadows, so a bit of black was applied. Would anyone have done anything differently in PS?
