I received my tripod for christmas, and managed to scare the cat into staying still for long enough to snap this.

C&C welcome

She sat in the living room, which was pretty dark except for a ray of light from the window, just highlighting her face. The right is a tad blown out, which is a bit of a shame. My s5600 seems better at capturing shadow detail than highlight. I am often tempted to underexpose and tweak in PS.
The only work done in photoshop is levels tweak, and I touched the background up, it was extremely dark shadows, so a bit of black was applied. Would anyone have done anything differently in PS?

Im afraid the face is too dark, and the right hand side is blown out. Maybe play around with the lighting a bit more?

Hmn the composition doesnt do much for me. Too far to the left of the frame. It seems quite soft as well -- i cant tell where the focus has been set? I'd agree with the blown highlights and whats already been said. :)
