the chain

hi guys

I want to play the chain on this bass I got.

I know nothing about playing music, but it should be easy to play as it only has four strings.

Yeah, bass is dead easy. Takes no skill at all, just those 4 strings

keep practicing if you want to play bass? theres no other real tips you can be givien lol

Bass is no easier because it's got four strings. Arguably you need a better grasp of rhythm (playing to accent the kick etc.) and longer fingers as the scale length is massive. You'll also need strong fingers to hold down the fatter strings.

'The Chain' by Fleetwood Mac isn't too hard a song on bass, but you might struggle with the speed and co-ordination of moving your fingers that fast when you're just starting out.

So, How do i do it?

I twang one string and it sounds like a bit of the song, so i guess a bit of it is played open string?
