The cinema...WTF !!!

From my experience people who are 18+ don't tend to kick chairs and be noisy.
If anyone is obviously under 18 when I'm in a show I can guarantee you now they don't stay in the screen very long - I just get them chucked out.

So personally I love 18 rated films because the audience are indeed mature enough to not ruin the experience for everyone.

i think the last few posts flew right over your head :D

but what about sweet bags in wrappers? they make extortionate profit because once you are there, you are basically a captive audience. they simply screw u over - because they can. and they know it.

The cinemas make most of their profit through food/drink sales and very little through ticket sales.

Prices were getting too ridiculous so I got a Cineworld unlimited card and go once a week now so it works out much cheaper! :)

Only if you do go every week, otherwise it is a waste, and I certainly wouldn't have the time or inclination to go every week.

Here's my little moan about the cinema. I'm trying to book tickets at the Showcase De Lux in Leicester. I select a cinema/film/date/time, enter all my personal and payment details, and THEN it tells me that online ticket bookings for this particular cinema are unavailable. Why the hell didn't it tell me at the start?
