I would like to go to The Comedy Store on Saturday 4th March. All the 8pm advance sale tickets are sold out. They say on their website that they presell 300 tickets with 100 going on the door on the night. Does anyone have any experience of how long you have to queue? Doors open at 6.30pm and thats when they start selling the tickets, but I'm worried you would have to get there even earlier than that to queue. Any advice?

Is this the one in manchester? If so I live witha guy who works there ill give him a shout see if i can get tickets through him for you or find out how bad the queues are likely to be.

London unfortunately. But he might have some idea about how easy it is to get tickets on the door, it would be so great if you could ask him.

went a couple of months ago and turned up about 7ish and still managed to get 6 tickets, there weren't too many people queuing but it does start to get busier nearer 7:45ish

If you get there at 6:30 you should have no problem at all, although I seem to remember for some reason that you could go much earlier in the day to buy them (sure a friend did). So just go as early as you can and then retire to a nearby pub until the show.

Sounds like a plan. Going with the gf (yeah, its probs a rubbish place to go with a laydee) so no drinking. Anyway, should be fun if we get in, I think its quite a popular show cos none of the others are sold out.
