Last couple days my internet has been absolute ****. Webpages consistently fail to load with this error. After awhile of refreshing the page will load instantly and i can quickly refresh a couple tabs before it then resorts to not loading pages.

Pings show no packet loss and decent latencies.

Any ideas?

Yeah DNS servers were my first thought too. Im with the dreaded pipex homecall :(

I logged onto my usb modem and checked wht dns they automatically give me and its the same as what I have setup in my router.

nah same problems :(

On my dns settings page there are two dns options, dns proxy (purely an ip) or dns server which is url and ip. Which should i be using?

I'm on pipex midi. Upgraded to 8mb service 2 weeks ago. Started great, but has been playing up last few days. Webpages load but take lot longer than they did just after upgrade. A speed test on thinkbroadband shows up this

Speed Down 386.05 Kbps ( 0.4 Mbps )
Speed Up 370.77 Kbps ( 0.4 Mbps )

Will try a couple of router settings and give it a reset but probably is time to call pipex. Anyone else with em having a slow service?
