The Coronation Countdown Thread

King Charles' coronation will be held on May 6th 2023.

I think that's a bit early: I'd rather July or August or early September for a better chance of good weather. I do hope that Big Ears doesn'r economise too much: the UK is among the best at putting on pageants and ceremonial, as Her Late Majesty's funeral shows.

One thing I hope they do do is have street cleaners all along the route to pick up all the horse droppings.

Cutting it down is a terrible idea. It’s been 70 years since a coronation, we should have the full works.

Equality is a utopian dream at all class levels. Fighting it is futile. A hierarchy naturally exists in the animal and human world, even down to an elemental level with the periodic table.
