There has been a bit of info on this floating about. It is made by Arkane Studios (Dark Messiah) and the Art Director of HL2.

There is a video now up over at 1up here.

it looks really intriguing.... this along with Left 4 Dead, Portal, TF2 and Episode 2 make for some very cool things coming out of Valve and related studios over the next year or so. I can't wait to see how these turn out.

Anyone got any other info?

Makes a very interesting read... i got a bit lost with the whole swapping in and out but i am sure it will work out properly.

It seems that i am the only person intrigued by this. I think this could be amazing if they pull it off... i think it is now top of my most wanted list.
Just hope it lives up to the promise that the concepts give!

Sounds very interesting. Looks nice from the video and could have a really good story. The crossplay thing sounds quite complicated but could be a big thing if they can pull it off correctly. Not everyday a company tries to add something new in an fps, just have to wait and see if they can do it.

Dark Messiah is still a good game though... didn't live up to the over hype but it is still solid.

No idea on the release date, hopefully some time this year but will have to wait and see.

I think DM was worthy of hype.. The melee combat system is very smooth and pretty much flawless IMO. Arkane will be able to pull this off..

even if there's a horde of people for whom it won't run.

It's the same one as I linked to in my post.

I am certainly anticipating stuff like this very highly.... sure there are better looking games, but as pretty as Crysis and such like are, its new FPS concepts that really get me interested.
