For any one who wants to have a go at benchmarking there pc using the
CustomPC Media Benchmarking Suite heres the link

nice to see the 920's are getting good scores wait for some one to rock up with a [email protected] and kill it....

these 920 are doing quite a bit better than mine did think i used to get 2060 but that was my 24/7 3.8GHz clock, now all we need is a selection of other chips like 950,60,70,8,90 come on guys ive seen a few of you with thoese expensive chips lets see how they fair...

@Jeffy B Yer i just upgraded to the SB from a 920 as i do a lot of video encoding and thats where these chips are really powerful.

@Someone I did notice this benchmark is not massivly cpu intensive but it does give you a quick overall score

My SB is still up there with the hex cores.
Overall score: 2730 points running @4.7GHz

But the SB still pips it my score was 1965

@Tomcat825 yer it be good to get a good mix of cpu's weve been talking about it today at work, how its more about core for core performace rather than the quantity of cores

I am glad this thread has turnt out to b a good friendly oc battle I'm not at my PC at the mo but I've stressed @4.9 for half hour but bottled it as temps were about 83ish hmm I wonder if if I got a custom water loop if I could keep my temps much lower, I have also been thinking although this benchmark is good I was thinking of droping custom PC an email see if there's any plan on getting it updated to incorporate newer hardware
