nice to still be the fastest Phenom II quad :D

How the hell you manage that pal.....????

I can only get mine upto 3840, ( mind you, I hav`nt changed anything else apart from the multiplier, standard voltage.) Can you give me the specs to try on mine ... or is it .. you could .. but you`d have to kill me after.. :D

Revo.

well, the specs are listed in the post i made, not sure where it is tbh
But the important clue is, the rig was under water,
if memory serves, the config was 4400Mhz 1.6vcore, Ram was 1600mhz Cas 8 timings
do remember trying for Cas 7 timings but it just wouldn't let me have it

Oh and by water, i mean custom water, not one of those stupid crud all in one jobbies :)

If you want to give me a run, get clocking, your rig should be good for at least 4.2Ghz on a suicide run, also nail your ram timings down as hard as you can, you have 4 times the ram i had, so heck you might even beat me if you try hard enough :)

*edit*
Found it lol

I tested my I7 980x Extreme @4059Mhz with 135 Bus Speed and got these results.

Image editing: 1697 points.
Video encoding: 3830 points.
Multitasking testing: 1610 points.
Overall score: 2379 points.

But When I went to 4330Mhz @135 Bus Speed This happened.

Image editing: 1793 points.
Video encoding: 4044 points.
Multitasking testing: 1581 points.
Overall score: 2473 points.

My multitasking score got hit. Any ideas why this would happen.
I'm a noob at this.
Thanks

My Ram is

CORSAIR VENGEANCE 12GB (3X4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHZ TRIPLE CHANNEL KIT.

I don't know why Insane Dutch Killers would effect my pc ;).

have you tried nailing the timings right down? IE is your ram running at 800Mhz with Cas 9 timings?, timings do have quite a large effect on the results in this one :)

Hi,

I've left Everything on [Auto] in the Ram section. As i know nothing about it.

CPU-Z Shows the Following.

DRAM Frequency 675.6MHz
FSB DRAM 2:10
CAS (CL) 9 Clocks
RAS to CAS 9
Cycle Time tras 24
Row Refresh 107
Command Rate 1T

In the SPD TAB it shows Max bandwidth as (667 Mhz).

Can you help. or is there nothing that can be done!.

well the timings look about right tbh, but 675Mhz is slow, you need to manually select DDR3-1600 in your ram speed options in Bios to get them running properly imo, can't help any more because i'm not familiar with your board or it's settings lol

Did what you said and Manually Set the Ram speed. Which has CPU-Z Now showing 800Mhz. ;)

Did another test with x22 CPU Multiplier, Bus Speed 200 1.38v Core.
PLus a few other voltage tweeks.

Results: 4400Mhz
Image editing: 1810 points.
Video encoding: 4150 points.
Multitasking testing: 1627 points.
Overall score: 2529 points.

Not sure how this compares to others on here with similar Spec.
But Multitasking is up a little. Thanks for your advice.
