I know which bios to use, best is 0006 from the big p6t thread on xs. I have the bios and the engineering afudos just need the time to do it

Ok found the time, crossflashed to 0006 and hit 4.53ghz and broke 2400!

JeffyB, thanks for giving me a swift kick up the rear again :eek:

, had a look at my Bios settings, realized l had not upped my QPI/VTT-volts to go with 4.5GHz, crancked them up and cracked the 4.5GHz barrier > 4.515GHz.

Was tricky at first, the non throttling bios made me need slightly more voltage than i was used to seeing as the cpu was no longer throttling. I think the max bclk i can get to is around 220 but i'm not gonna pump any more juice through my 920 to get there.

Thanks guys... last year at this time i blew my 790i when i was approaching 4.8 on a benching run so a bit cautious about this speed.
