Ive just bought it off steam, i know its pricey but i dont care its xmas :p

Anyway i really enjoyed the demo and i think im gonna play the game first time round as a warrior. From what i read the singleplayer is ace but i aint heard nothing about the multiplayer is there anyone regulars on here :)
 
despite some of the bad reviews it's got to be the best single player game I've played this year. Flows very well..

The multiplayer isn't quite what you'd expect. No kicking or spikes etc. and generally less smooth combat. It's a perfectly good game, just different to the single player - probably because it was developed by another company
 
Cool I've asked my old man to pick this up for me. I enjoyed the demo so I should like it :)

What are graphics like on mid-range cards such as the X1950 pro?

my x1900xtx is no slouch and i wouldnt consider that a mid range, so yeah that card would play it no problems :)
 
Sorry, I am a bit of noob when it comes to GPU's xD. I've always considered high-range cards the pieces of kit worth 350+. I would say the X1950 pro is near the top-end of mid-range. Just my nooby opinion :)
 
Dark messiah has to be my favourite single player pc game of the year! LOVE IT

Except i tended to spend points aimlessly without picking a class, which led to me having an average character near the end. Still, worked OK for me! It also makes me want to go through it again as a different class and do the other choices that were available to me. :p
 
Hehe chopping off body parts does sound appealing :D I think I will go with the warrior first then. Thanks for your input. Have a good christmas :)
 
This game sounds fun, is it the "Dark messiah, heroes of might and magic" game?

the one that is on steam?.

Just seen it in a sale somewhere for 15 quid. which is a lot cheaper than on steam, hope its the same one!
 
I do like stealth just because you can throw a dagger [over huge distances and still have it arrive instantly back in your hand] and of course the stealth kills from behind.

the title is "Dark Messiah: Might and Magic" I believe

yep - thats it - great game but a bit short.

hopefully an expansion pack and/or some mods will come out in the future.
 
I really didnt find it that short... I didn't rush it, i took it day by day and did get stuck a lot (spiders pit as a warrior was hard)
 
I loved it. I kinda gave up during the bit where zombies were aimlessly chasing me while I was hanging around on ropes. :(

SAME HERE and then I registered it on steam :D also got prey for £10 from same place and then registered that on steam aswell.

£25 and two of this years best FPS are mine.
