Yeah been on the front page of steam for a while now. I did enjoy the first so fingers crossed this is good as well.

I've actually played it briefly during an event in London.

Well the The Darkness being a console exclusive was one of the best single player, story driven FPS games I ever played, a lot better than most PC titles that came out in recent years.
About Jackie still being the main character, he is, but they've changed the voice actor. I'm really not happy about that. With the voicework and jackie's character being so strong and well done before. Oh and it's a totally different dev team. If you've played more than one of Starbreezes games, you'll know they have a particular feel that is going to be hard to replicate. Fingers crossed for Syndicate!

As with most, enjoyed the first - will pick up the second.
The main reason I liked the first was because of the variety; mafia, war and demons gave the player a refreshingly different and surreal experience.
What is it with this type of left for dead type of games,no originality just daft zombies on a rail running towards you
Left for dead was released on PC 1 year after the darkness...
TBH i had never heard of it,was it only on consoles.still my point is why the surge in these type of brain dead games.
It was a console exclusive yeah.
However, this one had a great storyline and was very surreal.
