Hi guys,
So it's finally happened my pc died on Monday evening... I booted it up and as I opened chrome it just turned off, tried to turn it on but nothing.. Grabbed the multimeter, unplugged everything from the psu and the motherboard, tested the voltage from the psu and it drained down from 12v to 0. Ordered a power supply but it seems when it died it's taken out my motherboard or cpu. It's a maximus vii ranger. When it starts I get 00 post code and the Cpu Q-led stays lit red. Tried booting with no gpu, hdds, just one stick of ram..

I now realise, I don't know much about current gen pc parts anymore! I've always been team blue and green but apparently, team blue has dropped the ball on the 13th and 14th Gen.. There's an Ultra 5 and 7 now? Can someone only sanity check what I'm considering for my replacement rig?

That is really nice! If only it was black! I'm not overly bothered about matx, if I can find a smaller mid tower case. I've done the big case with lights etc. I'm looking for something small that can be tucked away easily.

They have other colours - there's a black and a different black one with a wood style panel front.

The wood panel is supposed to be available separately at some point too, so if you could only get hold of the plain black one as I did and wait for the wood panel release in the future.
