What's the difference between the EK-CoolStream RAD XTX (480) and EK Water Blocks EK-CoolStream PE 480 (Quad)

The XTX is 64mm thick while the PE is 38mm thick. The extra surface area will in theory mean better cooling potential for the XTX.
The XTX has much less FPI (fins per inch) meaning it is should perform better with lower speed fans than the PE
They are made of slightly different materials. They both have copper fins and brass chambers but the housing on the XTX is steel where the PE is aluminium. This makes essentially no difference in use however.
The XTX uses m3 screws for mounting whereas the PE uses unc 6-32 screws. M3 screws are much easier to come by if you need spares / extras.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Ideally, what would you suggest? Is it worth the extra 40 pound or shall I stick with the cheaper one
