Hello

I have recently upgraded my 970 to a 1070 and am about to start The Division with a friend. I have just been messing around with the settings in the game to see what the card can handle (high end EVGA 1070). I have a 4K monitor too.

It does handle 4K, but obviously the detail levels have to drop somewhat for pretty much everything. I can however play at 1080 with every setting on max and it is 60fps.

Having not played any of the game I do not know what the differences are. Does anyone have a recommendation whether I should play with lower resolution and higher detailing/shadows/etc or whack up the res and lower the details?

Please note I have only loaded the game and wandered the first couple of 100m of the streets.. I have not gone to the safehouse yet. I don't know whether the game becomes more graphically intense?

Thanks.

Read the performance guide and see what is possible at 4K. A 1070 won't be able to fully max this game out with playable framerates.

I was pretty impressed at the performance of the game given how nice it looks in places, I was able to get a consistent 30fps on a single 970 with the High preset @3440x1440, so a 1070 should be able to run it nicely (yeah 30 fps, but it runs silky smooth @ 30fps)
