I would say that if I can get in then anyone can, but then realised only my estate had a light smattering of snow and the rest of the roads are fine. If anyone is trying to drive on the M6 this morning near Cov, have fun, still problems from yesterday morning blocking all the roads around it :(
 
If there’s snow/ice and the motor starts ice skating don't bother otherwise be a man and stop skiving.
 
I didnt go in (Bolton, Greater manchester) almost 6-8 inches of snow overnight and continuing to snow now.

For those of you that made it- congrats and enjoy ur day at work :).. whilst i sit here and play TF2

This...just travelled to work in my gf's ford ka, roads not great but managed the 12 mile journey on B roads just fine!

and he owns the company, i never understand why people break there back for a company that some day will turn there back on them.
 
Last time it was snowing i phoned my boss and said it was bad, roads were solid etc, he agreed and said it was the same where he was. So we agreed not to bother, have a snow day and try again tomorrow, no sense sitting in a car for hours and risk some wally crashing into you. Missing the odd day of work isnt life or death round here, so why not make life just a bit easier.
 
Isn't today the most popular day for people pulling sickies?

We have 5 off today. We had one guy ring in saying he won't attempt to walk over his drive as there is too much ice.. Pathetic!
