In my opinion most programming these days seem to be dumbed down rubbish. Retro viewing is becoming more popular every day.

What programming from the past would you want back?

For me it would be the old MTV channel where the focus was on music shows. We had the European version so we got to hear music that we don't normally see. I think the channel then was a cultural icon of the 90s.

I tend to have the boxsets of the stuff I want to watch as it could take me ages to find it on the streaming service..

Only fools and horses
Black adder
Johnathan Creek
Sherlock
House

As for tv programmes, I miss tomorrow’s world
Krypton factor
News round (yeah it’s for kids but I was a kid)

Now a days the only channel that really gets watched is bbc news, and that channel that shows midsummer’s murders for the odd Sunday where I can pause life.

Shows like The Sweeny and Minder where women were just a pair of boobs. Not really.

Not a lot, when you watch old shows, they seem pretty dreadful tbh. These days, many shows are a long story arc and I mostly enjoy this.

The Wire was very good, as was Mr Benn, I also agree about much of Brass Eye and The Day Today.
