I'm not sure this worked out so well this time because I saw the pioneer of the easyrider shuffle trying to get a card at RRP from a scalper on another forum

I bought a RTX 3070 and a RTX 3060TI FE.....One from a shop and the other for MSRP.
So basically two 3000 series cards....
Good if it worked out for you, but you've got to agree for most people getting a card at RRP wasn't as easy as just buying on release day like it usually is, I've seen plenty of people complaining about selling their old cards and then not being able to source a 3000 series at anywhere near RRP. Stock shortages and scalpers ruined these releases.
My post was intended as a light-hearted joke though... I didn't say you didn't get one. It was just this thread from one of the many scalpers that sprang to mind;

Yeah that was basically a post to put off scalpers....I feel for Madness...He sold his 2080ti before the 3000 series actual launch....for £450 IIRC....
I did alright....I got two 3000 series cards....
Sent the 3070 back....
