You sure about that?

Burning man is my first thought... surely that's quite a bit bigger?

Quote from Wikipaedia

The 2011 Fringe sold 1,877,119 tickets[2] for 41,689 performances of 2,542 shows, in 258 venues, over 25 days,[4] for an average of more than 75,000 admissions and 1,360 performances per day. There were an estimated 21,192 performers, from 60 countries participating. There were 607 free shows.

Hard to guage how many different people buying tickets that is, but Burning Man is capped at 50,000, don't know how many unique installations there are, but I don't think it's as many.

Gotcha... just terminology confusionings... I woulda thought burning man would take up a greater area of land to itself still...

Considering area rather than throughput... ;)
