It looks there is gonna be a new expasion game for The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion. This is being released on 24/11/2006 at the usual places for around £15

The game play is to be in the time of 20 hours :)

Just pre-ordered mine ;)

For me, had Oblivion had a far longer story I would have loved it. Yes, there is a lot to do but I seemed to get through too quick. 20 hours doesn't really feel enough considering the size of the game itself.

The retail version of Knights of the Nine is a compilation that will include all the other Oblivion downloadable content released to date: Horse Armor, The Orrery, Wizard’s Tower, Vile Lair, Thieves Den, Mehrunes’ Razor, and Spell Tome....

....Knights of the Nine features an all-new faction and quests for noble characters and answers many of the questions surrounding the Ayleid ruins found throughout Oblivion. Players can join a new faction and found their own order of holy knights – leading them into battle against a sorcerer-king and his demonic minions while exploring massive dungeons and searching for legendary relics – the holy armor and weapons of the Divine Crusader.
:o

The storyline wasn't that long I admit but all the extra stuff to do in oblivion would take ages to complete. I gave up, if you guys completed everything then you must be some hardcore gamers

So hardcore I even played it whilst only wearing pants.

Seriously though, either I missed a huge part of the game or it was too short. I demand a list of all the things I could have done!

Would take about 9 years to proberly complete all the missions in that game, proberly 9 years just to jott them all down also.

I made the fatal mistake of listening to jeffery and running around left and right cos I got too wrapped up in the storyline and he was saying hurry find the amulet and this n that before we all die.

But it turned out u dont even need to start the Main story I could have very well become a theif or taken my own path in that game....

20hrs aint had considering most new games offer 12-16hrs gameplay and then thats your 30 quid gone cos half dont have online gameplay so for a mod/expansion to offer 20 hrs is good actually.

they said the original had about 200 hours of play so 20 hours is just 1/10th of the full game, yet it cost's over half. also the engine was already developed, speedtree, facegen and havoc have been paid for.

if you scale the full game to the cost of any of their extra content then the game would have cost hundreds of pounds..

Sounds interesting. I haven't bought Oblivion yet due to only having a 6800GT until last week, hopefully there will be a bundle with the expansion pack I might grab and get started on my 7900GTO. Not quite up to ATI standards in this game but at least it should be playable.

ive got like 50 quests in my active quest list... and i bet theres wayyyyy more

Drat. I was hoping they'd release a new "Game of the Year" edition with the game itself plus all the downloadable content already integrated.

I think I'll probably get this. I'll start with a new character and actually attempt to properly role-play this time, rather than just doing everything.

I ran Oblivion on a 9600 XT for a few weeks before I got a new system. A 6800 should be plenty!

I'm 99.5% certain i did everything in Oblivion apart from become a vampire and do the vampire quest.

It took about 3weeks, but there were some hefty sessions. I doubt 200hours, maybe just over half that.

3 weeks?

that would barely scratch it I reckon... every single person u just about meet in the game thats 1000s come running up to you and u got a quest automaticly.... in fact I recall running away from a lot of folk cos I didnt wanna get lumered with a quest lol

Half the main mission I just ran thru nekkid was the easiest/quickest way to escape the hordes of enemies, nothing more thrilling then running thru a hell gate nekkid and about 20 baddies following u thru it ;)

I've checked a list since completing it, theres nothing left to do, unless the list was incomplete, was from IGN, and i got the game about 4-6weeks after release.

I did everything apart from some trainer quests. Couldn't be bothered to build up my skills high enough to do them.
