This could be a game changer for Skyrim with highly modded set ups! Imagine having 40fps with an ENB, turning on DLSS quality and boom over 60

I've not used the original Skyrim MODDED thread because it will just get lost AND there is talk of having DLSS implementation in games that don't have the option of DLSS

Could be a game changer for modded Skyrim VR certainly, if only to replace the games dated TAA implementation with DLAA. Hopefully the developers will release a VR compatible version soon.....

wow the amount of people playing Skyrim special edition actually goes up over time, what a bunch of nerds

Original skyrim is like a graveyard though

When is this out ?

Considering that modding has kept the game going strong for over a decade , I'd say a good many people bother :)
There are also mostly automated modlists available via wabbajack these days.
I did mod the game back in the day, but didn't go to wild on it (DoF nonsense and such). Performance was mostly tied to the CPU, but probably something changed with the latest releases.
I'll give wabbajack a go. thx :)

Main performance hit I found, which DLSS won't really alleviate, was stuff which hit the single threaded parts of the game engine hard and/or GPU batching limits (similar to single threading limits) - everything else ran fairly well.
