The Electric State | Netflix

Watched this, enjoyed it tbh. Fun watch, I feel like there's a bandwagon all the critics are jumping on here. Sure, its not going to make that money back but there have certainly been worse films that haven't received this much hate.

Perhaps they decided to give all the CGI developers a fair wage with our $$$ after all the backlash in recent years in that area...

I'll see myself out.
 
Who wrote this? Some of the lines are woeful, don't blame the actors cause it's what they given to work with but it's been a very long time dialogue has been so utterly awful.

Enjoyed this for what it was though do have to wonder where the budget went when we get films like The Creator for $80 mil, CGI for a Netflix film was surprisingly good.

The Creator was $80m?! Nice.

Where they spent $320m on Electric State, I've no idea.

Just finished watching. I enjoyed Tales from the Loop immensely so wanted to what this was like.

It was OK. Kids loved it. 5/10 average. The bots were good, the story, not so much.
 
Continued where i left off and finished it. It does pick up the pace a bit. Overall it was a bit lame in terms of execution, but it was fine, if you are 11 you are going to love it.
